I needed to contact support and noticed this in one of my clients’ accounts.
I clicked to find a new discovery…keyboard shortcuts in the platform. I don’t know how I missed them all these years but now that I found…I LOVE them! I also went on a mad dash to see if other platforms have them…Yup. 🥳 I’m here to share them now with you.
Google Ads Keyboard Shortcuts
Directions: If the navigation has a “+” symbol, hold down the first key while pressing the last key of the shortcut. If it has a “then”, press the first key, release, and then press the second key.
General actions
Shift + ?: Show or hide the shortcuts list
G then T: Search for a page
Shift + N: Create a new item (for example, Campaign, Ad group, or Keyword). This shortcut works wherever you find a plus button.
Ctrl + C: Copy
Ctrl + V: Paste
Shift + H: Show or hide the quick help menu
Shift + R: Refresh data
Navigate Google Ads
G then B: Go to the Billing menu
G then O: Go to the Overview section
G then Y: Go to the Recommendations page
G then C: Go to the Campaigns page
Shift + W: Show the campaign view filter
Shift + A: Go to the All campaigns view, after you’ve clicked into a campaign
Shift + S: Go to the Search campaigns view
Shift + D: Go to the Display campaigns view
Shift + V: Go to the Video campaigns view
Shift + P: Go to the Shopping campaigns view
G then J: Go to the Ad groups page
G then A: Go to the Ads page
G then K: Go to the Search keywords page
G then S: Go to the Campaign settings page

G then U: Go to the Managed accounts page

Meta Ads Keyboard Shortcuts
We all know how slow the Meta Ads interface can be, but let me tell you…these are lightning fast!
Alt + 1: Navigate to campaigns.
Alt + 2: Navigate to ad sets.
Alt + 3: Navigate to ads.
Ctrl + Y: View insights charts for your selected campaigns, ad sets or ads.
Ctrl + U: Open editing for your selected campaigns, ad sets or ads.
Ctrl + I: View activity history for your selected campaigns, ad sets or ads.
Ctrl + R: Review all changes.
Ctrl + C: Copy your selected ads set or ads to the clipboard.
Ctrl + V: Paste copied items into the current selection.
Ctrl + D: Quick duplication for your selected campaigns, ads set or ads.
Ctrl + Shift + D: Open duplicate dialog for selected campaigns, ads set or ads.
Ctrl + Shift + C: Open “Export as Text” dialog for selected campaigns, ads set or ads.
Ctrl + Shift + /: Show all available keyboard shortcuts.
Ctrl + BACKSPACE: Delete selected campaigns, ad sets, or ads.
(I couldn’t find an in-channel support article for these but found how to do them!)
I couldn’t find shortcuts for other paid digital advertising platforms like LinkedIn but I could find shortcuts for the feed (such as these for LinkedIn. I also found some for TikTok). Play around with these and find your favorite one!
