This is the #1 attribute of our agency that employees love. Clix has been a remote-first agency since the beginning, so when the world was trying to adjust to WFH life during the pandemic, we were ready with plenty of advice to give. We pride ourselves in offering employees an excellent work-life balance and that’s one reason why Clix employees stick around for so long; our average employee tenure is six years.
We think grace and understanding goes a long way, and we strive to extend that to our clients as well. For instance, the pandemic has caused issues for many of the businesses we work with, so we have been more flexible and understanding with our contracts during this time.
We also strive to be an extension of our client’s teams and work to accommodate their needs under any circumstances. Whether that be a last-minute reporting request, assisting with growth & expansion plans, providing budgeting recommendations, feedback on creatives, or even simply rescheduling a call we appreciate the opportunity to make our clients’ lives just a bit easier.
In the work realm, and in particular, it seems in the tech industry, people come and go. There are countless exciting work opportunities in our field, whether you stay at an agency, move on to a larger agency with more infrastructure, go in-house or go to work for a channel. In our 18 years in business, we’ve had to say goodbye to some of our favorite people and celebrate with them as they embark on new opportunities. Whether an employee has left on amicable terms or not, our goal is to continually stay professional and wish them well.
The same goes for our clients! We know there’s lots of competition out there, so when a client decides to move on, and these reasons have been so varied over the years, we always feel thankful for the time we had to work together and wish them the best as they leave.
As an agency, we believe there are few things more important than giving back to your community. In the last three years, we’ve taken on three pro-bono clients and have loved every minute of working with them.
For our employees, we launched a Volunteer Time Off program a few years ago and love offering a generous amount of hours for each employee to spend time away from their desks and in their communities giving back.
Ultimately, we’ve spent 18 years creating our culture here at Clix, and we’re so proud of what we’ve built.
