Discovered: Additional Syntax for Google AdWords’ Dynamic Keyword Insertion

The beautiful and talented Matt Van Wagner of FindMeFaster was kind enough to share with me (and you) the following table from his SMX presentation this week. It shows some variations of Google AdWords Dynamic Keyword Insertion (DKI) syntax that I hadn’t seen before, giving greater control over the capitalization of dynamically inserted keywords than previously thought possible.

Important Note from Matt:

“Even though you can make Headlines and Descriptions with all CAPS, Google’s editorial guidelines forbid it. Don’t use this syntax guide in any way not allowed by Google’s terms of service. Only use the CAPS syntax for acronyms, or acceptable abbreviations, otherwise you will likely have ads shut down. Don’t be evil.”
